PerfectMind continues the beginning of an energized year as first-time attendees and one of the sponsors of KRPA's (Kansas Recreation and Park Association) 2017 conference and trade show at the end of January.
The 3 days comprised of a full delegate speaking agenda with high engagement through a broad range of topics. Attendees also enjoyed additional roundtable, luncheon, park tour, and charity poker events. Delegates sessions were specialized in topics such as mental health management and sanitation standards for athletic development facilities, in addition to discourse across academia and education, staff training, bee conservation, and worksite wellness. The team was happy to put faces to names in person and caught up with Derby Recreation and Johnson County.
Eric Ethier, PerfectMind account executive, remarked on the high level of engagement in discussions following Rob McDonald's delegate session on behalf of the Derby Recreation Commission. Rob spoke to the technological changes within the parks and recreation industry and its implications for the needs of organizations and the communities they serve.
Derby Recreation Commission shared their experience in the software selection process, why they chose PerfectMind as their parks and recreation management solution, and what it means to invest in the end-user experience of clientele.
The lucky winner of our draw prize is Susan Hentzler, Recreation Superintendent of Shawnee County Parks & Recreation! Congratulations on your new Fitbit Alta- we hope you enjoy it in your favourite colour and custom size. PerfectMind thanks KRPA for an insightful conference with both new and existing connections.
