PROntario 2015: Eat Better, Sleep Better and Move More

"We need to do a better job of putting ourselves higher on our own "to do" list."

- Michelle Obama

PerfectMind walked away from the PROntario 2015 conference with great information on health and wellness. Dr. Greg Wells, health and human performance expert, was a keynote speaker highlighting The Corporate Olympian. He believes anyone can have better health, energy and performance. How? Eat better, sleep better and move more.

This seems like simple logic, right?

"More than one-third (34.9% or 78.6 million) of U.S. adults are obese." [Read abstract Journal of American Medicine (JAMA)

"The Sleep in America polls and several large studies have linked sleep deficits with poor work performance, driving accidents, relationship problems, and mood problems like anger and depression." - WebMD

We all suffer from being busy, but we need to remember our performance is only as good as our health.

PerfectMind stands behind the Parks and Recreation organzations of the world because their collective mission is to better the health and wellness of their communities. Be happier, feel great, lose weight, reduce stress, etc. etc.

PROntario did a great job of celebrating leadership, quality and excellence at the conference. The speakers were thought-leaders within their own industries and each of the sessions was focused on empowerment. Attendees were empowered as individuals, as representing the parks and recreation industry, and as being global leaders of today and tomorrow.

We also want to Congratulate Ashley Galea, Community Recreation Coordinator at The Corporation of the Town of Ajax for winning PerfectMind's iPad draw. We hope you enjoy your new toy.
