Inspiring Change Together at NRPA 2016

Xplor Recreation joined 7,000+ park and recreation professionals at this year's highly anticipated National Recreation and Park Association Conference in St. Louis, Missouri. The annual conference hosts park and recreation professionals along with citizen advocates and industry vendors over the 3-day event. Covering educational sessions and hosting the largest trade show in the industry with over 400 organizations, NRPA 2016 was an energetic exchange of networking and learning for all. It was an exceptional opportunity to participate in face-to-face discussions with fellow industry experts and take part in community-building.

Located in the heartland of the U.S., America's Center Convention Complex is an impressive venue situated downtown with a historic façade and expansive, multi-purpose floor plan. Landmarks and tourist attractions were highly accessible on foot or via short car rides. Highlights include the famous Gateway Arch National Park, Busch Stadium, tasty adventures like frozen custard for foodies, and Ballpark Village.

The event schedule was packed with a balance of productivity and play. In the spirit of healthy and happy living, attendees enjoyed sports like golf, sunrise yoga, and a 5K fun run and walk. There were also various social activities and connections happening such as happy hour sessions and creativity labs.

 PerfectMind Booth NRPA 2016

Xplor Recreation had the privilege of interacting with over 100 delegates at the largest event of the year with some familiar faces and many new. Two of our account executives who manned the Xplor Recreation booth, Colleen Mah and Eric Ethier, were grateful to have the unique opportunity to speak with such a wide-range of personalities from across the U.S. They shared newly-released features and learned more about the needs of program coordinators, front-desk staff, recreation directors, and other industry professionals.
