Kicking into Gear at the 2018 Martial Arts SuperShow

Kicking into Gear at the 2018 Martial Arts SuperShow

As a proud sponsor of the Martial Arts SuperShow for over a decade, Xplor Recreation was honored to continue innovating and supporting the martial arts community as a Gold Sponsor at the 2018 event. This year, the Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas served as a hub for more than 1,700 school owners and martial art professionals, who represented roughly 1,000 martial arts schools, 46 states, and 8 countries.

In its 17th year, the SuperShow program offerings didn’t shy away from pushing our physical limits, facilitating bold conversations around modern teaching methods, and lighting the stage for the industry’s most well known and respected trainers. All in all, over 40 insightful seminars, workouts, physical training sessions, and pre-conference events took place over 4 days and provided a fierce challenge for participants to up their game.

Discussing solutions with school owners

Leading up to the highly anticipated event, Xplor Recreation team members agreed unanimously that they were most looking forward to catching up with our valued, long-time clients and syncing up with new school owners to help kickstart their schools’ growth.

We were also excited to connect with Molly Latham, Chief Executive Officer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada, whose organization’s mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

In the fall, Molly’s team will be launching a new program to teach newly immigrated parents and grandparents with limited English language skills how to navigate school websites and online systems to stay up-to-date with their children’s education. We certainly could not think of a better use for the new TV and computer monitors that we purchased for the tradeshow.

Congratulations to Maria Aguilar, Assistant Program Director at Martial Art Fitness Academy, who won our prize draw and went home with a brand new Google Home prize package! And thank you to the driven martial arts professionals who spoke, attended, exhibited, and organized this one-of-a-kind conference that inspires us to outperform ourselves each year. We look forward to seeing you all at the next SuperShow!
